Hammer Strength
Hammer Strength was founded by Gary Jones in 1989 and developed its machines with input from professional athletes. The brand is best known for its plate-loaded Iso-Lateral range, in which each arm or leg works on its own lever along a natural arc, and for heavy-duty racks and benches. Hammer Strength is now one of the Life Fitness brands.
Iso-Lateral presses, rows and leg machines have few wear parts and very robust frames, which is why they hold their value and why they are among the most sought-after machines on the pre-owned market.
